Beginning June 16, 2025

Trustees must ensure compliance with privacy legislation to protect personal and personal health information. Safeguarding privacy in an era of rapidly advancing technologies, combined with client expectations and the need for staff to work efficiently, has become complex – but not impossible. This event will feature an engaging and insightful lineup of speakers from the Manitoba Ombudsman’s office, eChart, Digital Shared Services and the Manitoba government’s Access and Privacy Branch.

Participants will gain valuable knowledge and practical tools to enhance their skills in protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal and personal health information. This week will conclude with an in-person workshop tailored specifically for privacy officers and delegates, offering case studies and expert advice.

Virtual presentations will be offered throughout the week of June 16, 2025. Visit the Learning Opportunities page on the StaffNet for updates and to register.
