Andgo Smart Call For Vacancy Replacement – Go Live
The Southern Health–Santé Sud (SH-SS) go live of Andgo Smart Call across Acute Care, Personal Care Home and Transitional Care facilities for all staff positions requiring vacancy replacement started today.
Effective today, Andgo Smart Call vacant shift notifications include support staff at Acute Regional Centres that have logged into Andgo. Shift notifications for additional staff are expected to occur on the dates listed below:
- All Acute Regional Centres-Support staff: February 5, 2026
- All Acute Community Hospitals-Clinical & support staff: Feb 12, 2026
- All Personal Care Homes/Transitional Care Centres: Feb 19, 2026
During this go live staged implementation, please keep in mind that:
- All Andgo resources are available on the Andgo Smart Call page
- Andgo Smart Call sends vacant shift notifications for vacant shifts in ESP scheduling system for 7 days in advance.
- All other vacant shift replacement processes continue as usual (i.e. signups, vacancy replacement outside of Scheduler hours).
- With initial activation, staff will receive notifications for all vacant shifts in upcoming 7 days all at once. This will only occur with initial activation.
- Staff that have not yet logged in and activated Andgo accounts, will still need to be notified of vacant shifts within next 7 days by alternate method (i.e. email, text, phone call).
- To check the status of staff logged into Andgo to determine when alternate notification methods can be discontinued, follow these steps
- Schedulers have Andgo “Scheduler” access. Directors/Managers/Supervisors/Leads have Andgo “Manager” access.
- Schedulers are encouraged to compare Andgo and ESP data and advise of any noted discrepancies
- Requests for additional or different access require Facility/Program Director approval.
Please continue to send questions and updates:
- Contact Kimberley Funk about QRGs/staff education
- Schedulers to contact Frieda Penner and Jordan Fehr
- Supervisors/Managers/Directors to contact Tamara Burnham and Joel Nelson
We appreciate everyone’s support and patience as we move through this Andgo expansion period together.
