Antipsychotics in LTC | Setting a National Target for Appropriate Use

Antipsychotics in LTC:
Setting a National Target for Appropriate Use

One in four long-term care residents are on antipsychotics potentially inappropriately, without a diagnosis of psychosis. To address this, an independent panel of experts has developed recommendations for a national target for appropriate use of antipsychotics in Canada’s long-term care homes.

Join the launch event on June 18 at 12 p.m. ET, hosted by the Appropriate Use Coalition. Experts will share key findings, introduce the new targets, and discuss how to move toward safer, more appropriate antipsychotic use in Canadian LTC homes.
