“We Will Take Good Care of the People” | Monthly Registration Cut-Off
Indigenous Cultural Safety Training (ICST) – Giga Mino Ganawenimaag Anishinaabeg meaning We Will Take Good Care of the People
This training is to help Manitoba health care workers implement daily practices that support the provision of culturally safe and anti-racist care.
There are 10 modules in this 10.5-hour online learning series (via LMS) which will engage health care workers in a range of activities promoting learning and reflection, with content drawn from the knowledge and expertise of local Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and health care leaders.
Course participants will have a six-month period from the time of registration to complete the education.
The Southern Health is given 17 slots to fill in every month. Registrations can now be accepted thru the StaffNet – Education Page, marking 15th of the month as the cut-off date for each month.

Note to Participants
- No registration fee for this education for SH-SS Staff.
- Upon registration, a more detailed confirmation email will be sent to you few days after the month’s cut-off date (15th).
- Participants should have an active Learning Management System LMS account.
- Registration is limited each month (max: 17 participants per month) and will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- Training to be completed during schedule work time.
