About the Training

This event outlines an educational, personal safety workshop for nurses and nurse managers in Southern Health-Santé Sud, instructed by the TRP Academy (Team Park). Participants of this workshop will gain confidence by learning physical and tactical strategies which will assist them in both the healthcare environment and their everyday life.

There will be two sessions of this workshop. Each session will run for approximately two (2) hours.

Facilitators: Team Park – 5 world class athletes and instructors

With over 50+ years of Martial Arts experience, Grand Master Park has conducted workshops for numerous organizations and has been an instructor for the renowned American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers.

Session Focus:

Supporting employee wellness and workplace safety. Participants will receive hands-on instruction on:
- Non-physical skills and strategies to support conflict de-escalation
- Safe methods of subduing and restraining
- Physical and mental techniques in handling threatening or high-stress situations
- Personal safety applicable inside and outside of the hospital – 3A

Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
No registration fee for this session. Snacks/Drinks will be provided to participants.
Interested participants can sign up for one session only. First come, first served basis.
