SPHP | Home Care Training (BTHC)
Southern Health–Santé Sud is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all health care workers (HCW) and patients/residents/clients. It is our responsibility to provide training to staff on safe client handling procedures and the equipment required to assist the client to reduce hazards and promote safe work for both the client and each health care worker.

Who should attend: Open to all Home Care Staff (Health Care Aides, Case Coordinators, Resource Coordinators, Direct Service Nurses).
Held in the Multipurpose Room
NOTE:
- This is an active session. The participant should come prepared with proper footwear and clothing conducive for participating in the Safe Patient Handling Techniques. Please wear clothing that is non-restrictive, proper footwear (for example, running shoes), and minimal amount of jewelry.
- If you would like a refreshment or snack, please bring one along with you.
- Participants are responsible for their own lunch.
- Maximum of 8 participants due to room occupancy limits.
- Registration closes 2 weeks prior to the session.
