Bilingual Recruitment & Selection
The key actionable steps in the recruitment and selection process for bilingual positions are outlined in the Recruitment & Selection Guide and are identified by this logo:

The bona fide qualification requiring the proficiency of both official languages is reviewed within the application screening process. French language proficiency is determined by:
- administering the French Language Assessment (FLA) by an approved assessors.
- administering an advanced level of language proficiency by a third party (i.e. writing in French, advanced comprehension skills, etc.) Please consult the list of Designated Bilingual Positions with Key Recruitment and Selection Considerations.
