In order to maintain corporate email connection on your Smartphone, and to ensure the continued safety and security of health data, Digital Shared Services is advising all employees with a corporately managed Smartphone connected to our corporate email servers (exchange email) to update the device software as soon as possible.

To check for Software updates:

iPhone – Settings > General > Software Update
Android – Settings > search Software

If your corporate Smartphone is not eligible to update to Apple iOS18 (iPhone devices) or AndroidOS 13 (Android devices), you will need to submit a Smartphone Request Form to upgrade the device.

To request a hardware upgrade, complete the Smartphone Request Form, found on your RHA Intranet page through this link: Telephony – Shared Health Intranet (sharedhealthmb.ca)

These security updates are required to protect our systems from critical vulnerabilities.
