We are pleased to announce that Kirsten Petersen has accepted a position with the Human Resources team as an Employee Relations Specialist (Portage Hub) effective Monday, February 2, 2026.

This new position will play a vital role in onboarding employees across the region. Our Employee Relations Specialists will collaborate closely with hiring managers, the Human Resources team, and Payroll to ensure a smooth flow of information throughout the onboarding process. They are responsible for coordinating all aspects of onboarding and supporting new hires at Southern Health–Santé Sud through the completion of their probationary period

Kirsten brings valuable experience to her new role, having previously worked as a Coordinator in Food & Nutrition Services and Logistics Management & Supply Chain, held a Payroll/Scheduling Clerk position and most recently worked as a Payroll Clerk.
