Please join us in congratulating Karen Yanchycki on her upcoming retirement! Karen has worked in a variety of positions, sites, and programs during her 39 years in Southern Health-Santé Sud. She has been an instrumental part of Portage District General Hospital as the director at that site and recently has lent her wide breadth of experience to assist with the new Portage Regional Health Centre build.

She has been a valued member of the Acute Leadership team and her absence at this table will be noticed. We will miss her knowledge, experience and her dedication.

Her retirement is well earned and we wish her the absolute best. Her last day will be May 2, 2025 but will be taking vacation throughout the month of April.
