We are pleased to announce that Melanie Gagnon has accepted the position of Manager Health Services – Long Term Care Administration at Lorne Memorial Hospital (LMH). 

Melanie has her Bachelor of Nursing Degree and has been working as a Registered Nurse within the region for 14 years.   Prior to obtaining her nursing degree, she worked for 7 years as a Health Care Aide in Long Term Care.  Her most recent position with Public Healthy-Healthy Living has provided excellent leadership and community development experience. This background has positioned her well to be a strong leader in the facility while ensuring quality patient-centred care is provided. 

Melanie will start into her new role on September 2^nd.  Please join me in welcoming her to her new position.
