Please join us in welcoming Theresa Courcelles to her new position as Regional Coordinator – Patient Safety. Theresa brings over 30 years of nursing experience and strong commitment for patient safety work. She is widely respected across Southern Health-Santé Sud (SH-SS) as a strong leader and advocate for patients and families. She was most recently Manager of Medicine and Dialysis at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. Her expertise and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our culture of safety and learning. Theresa will begin her new position on December 1st.

We also want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Tara Roberts, who previously held this position. Tara did an outstanding job in building a just culture of safety within our organization through her compassion and dedication. Although Tara is missed on our team, we are fortunate that she remains part of SH-SS in her new role as Manager, Health Services – Emergency Department at Portage Regional Health Centre.
