Supply of adenosine 6 mg/2 mL pre-filled syringes is currently precarious from the sole source manufacturer.

Should the supply of pre-filled syringes become depleted, adenosine 6 mg/2 mL (3 mg/mL) vials will be supplied.

The concentration of the vials is the same as the concentration of the pre-filled syringes. It may be drawn up and administered undiluted according to the criteria for the pre-filled syringes outlined in the SH-SS Regional Adult Parenteral Drug Monograph.
