As previously communicated, Digital Shared Services is rolling out Windows 11 to all managed workstations across the province.

All staff within the health system now have the option to install Windows 11 on their machines via our Self-Service option. It is highly recommended that you start the installation process at the end of your workday, as it can take 2-3 hours for the process to complete itself.

Self Service upgrade instructions are available online for your convenience.

Upgrading to Windows 11 will allow us to continue to provide critical security updates for our operating systems. While there will be noticeable visual changes to how systems operate in Windows 11, actual workflow for users will remain largely the same.
