SCHIPP | Facility Session (for LPM staff)

Southern Health–Santé Sud is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all health care workers (HCW) and patients/residents/clients. It is our responsibility to provide training to staff on safe client handling procedures and the equipment required to assist the client to reduce hazards and promote safe work for both the client and each health care worker.

Who should attend:  all staff involved in safe client movement.

Held in the Classroom

NOTE:  This is an active session. The participant should come prepared with proper footwear and clothing conducive for participating in the Safe Client Handling Techniques. Please wear clothing that is non-restrictive, proper footwear (for example, running shoes), and minimal amount of jewelry.
