Level 2 – Adult Pressure Injuries

Course is identical to those which are taught at the sites by Advanced Wound Care Clinicians.

Prerequisites (preferred): Wound Care Education Level 1

Who should attend: open to all SH-SS staff

Level 2 – (register for one date) – will provide the clinician with the skills to prevent Pressure Injuries, and when they occur to accurately stage and treat Stages 1-4 Pressure Injuries, Unstageable Pressure Injuries and Deep Tissue Pressure Injuries using the Wound Bed Preparation Paradigm. A short quiz will be distributed after the course and a passing mark of 85% is required to receive a certificate.
