Level II Diabetic Foot Ulcers | Virtual
Course is identical to those which are taught at the sites by Advanced Wound Care Clinicians.
Prerequisites (preferred): Wound Care Education Level 1
Who should attend: open to all SH-SS staff
Level 2 – (register for one date) – provides the skills to integrate the framework of the Wound Bed Preparation Paradigm in the assessment and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. There will be a review of diagnostics and assessment essential to managing and treating diabetic foot ulcers, including referral for foot care and offloading. Participants will be introduced to the 60 Second Foot Screen. A short quiz will be distributed by e-mail after the course and a passing mark of 85% is required to receive a certificate.
