Why Should I Attend?

Southern Health-Santé Sud is rolling out a new hand hygiene auditing electronic software. 

HandyAudit is a premiere hand hygiene auditing tool with technology that takes a story-based, evidence-based approach to hand hygiene behavior and removes the subjectivity inherent in traditional auditing tools.

This education will assist staff with changing their Hand Hygiene practices so that they are successful when audited via the electronic Handy Audit method.

A presentation for all staff regarding mandatory reporting and duty to warn.

The Mandatory Reporting policy is applicable to any healthcare provider in Southern Health-Santé Sud who is made aware of a reportable event by easily following the steps outlined in the checklists as supportive documents. Reporting is strongly encouraged to support safety of the overall health system. All employees are to be educated and understand their roles and responsibilities with respect to mandatory reporting requirements.
