Moving on Down

The project, Moving on Down was developed to remove wastes in the process of admission of patients from Emergency Department to the Medical/Pediatric Unit. The goal is to create a pull system where the Medical/Pediatric unit will pull patients from the Emergency Department within one hour from the time the admission order is written. Data Collection and the new system is currently being trialed at Portage District General Hospital.
