Assisting stakeholders across the continuum of care to acquire, use and sustain affordable, standards-based, interoperable clinical information technologies and other information management solutions for the purposes of improving quality, enhancing client safety and increasing efficiency.
Services include (but not limited to) the following activities:
- project management
- change management
- identification and documentation of business requirements and technical requirements
- business case, documentation, benefit identification, analysis and evaluation
- identification and documentation of quality expectations, risks, issues, etc.
- business process design and redesign including process and workflow mapping
- education and training support
- sustainment planning
Clinical Systems Analysts (CSAs) within the Electronic Health-Systems & Solutions portfolio:
- support the regional instance of the Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR) utilized by regionally operated medical clinics and some regional program areas such as the Chronic Disease Education Team and Palliative Care
- provide additional support and mentorship to other CSAs and Super Users who are responsible to support activities for various electronic information systems throughout the region
