Lean Mean Problem Solving Machine

A Yellow Belt Lean Project was chosen to help identify inventory discrepancies, interruptions and purchase requisition errors in the Portage District Health Center Logistics & Supply Chain Management department. This is a spread of the Count Accura project done earlier at the Boundary Trails Health Center. The team focused on the amount of inventory discrepancies during cycle counts, analyzing activity, monitoring number of interruptions , and identifying weekend/off hour access to department for obtaining goods. Our goal is to identify where the errors/omissions are occurring, correct and spread once success has been achieved.
