Movers and Shakers

There are a number of Adult Day Programs in the Region that are struggling with utilization rates. In October 2016, the Movers and Shakers Team came together to discuss the issues that the Carman Adult Day Program is facing. Our goal for this project was to:

Identify some of the current barriers that are preventing the appropriate users from attending the program.
Implement potential strategies to address these barriers and therefore increase participation in the program.
Ensure that assessment tools for clients and staffing expectations are appropriate for the objectives of the program.
